My fingers curl around a pen,
yet their motion is stilled.
My thoughts quiver like a wilted bloom,
shaken, yet unable to spill upon
any crumpled canvas.

Through myriad lands my visions roam,
yet as my pen stills to inscribe
my fingers go numb,
and I succumb to a fear
of birthing sweet nothings.

Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

Hi Dani

That inner strength is still there.  It has helped you cope with life so far and reading this poem, you still express yourself so beautifully.

It is not always easy to find inspiration but I usually find that triggers like Pandora's Challenge and the 10 word snippets are a very helpful starting point and I'm looking forward to the Flash.

Maybe then you can work through the layers and free your inner strength.

Hugs

Nina
