Alluring globs of decadent
dressings
undress my sensation’s
control.

Succulent turkey smells
waft delicately
airing enticing aroma,
tempting an abundance of delicacies
eager for devouring.

Filling pie, cheery fruitful flavors
of contentment satisfy,
while digested gladdened tidings
reveal another year of
thankful blessings.

QUOTE(Morgan le Fay @ Nov. 22 2004, 12:59)
Hi Lindi!

Boy, have you got me salivating for "alluring globs of decadent dressing"!  Yummm! laugh.gif I'm having olfactory hallucinations just thinking about it. (heh-heh)  I've been doing Atkins since last March and haven't had a speck of bread. Thus the hallucinations. ~smile~

I really enjoyed this fun piece, it's perfect to get me in the mood for turkey, turkey, turkey.....

I liked this piece just the way it is.  I'm not sure about Jly's suggestion about changing 'undresses to undress', they may be correct but my grammer is kind of weak, so can't really say.  I do like undresses better.  Seems to keep with the decadent feeling of this piece a little more for me.

Thanks again for posting this piece. I enjoyed reading it very much.  Wishing you and your family a very happy Thankgiving!

Love and stuff,
Chris  :)

Hello Chris~ Snowflake.gif

Thanks a bunch for stopping by to leave such a nice response to my poem!
I am glad that it got your salivary glands going! :)

I wish you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving!
