Alluring globs of decadent
dressings
undress my sensation’s
control.

Succulent turkey smells
waft delicately
airing enticing aroma,
tempting an abundance of delicacies
eager for devouring.

Filling pie, cheery fruitful flavors
of contentment satisfy,
while digested gladdened tidings
reveal another year of
thankful blessings.

You have whet my appetite and it is not yet Thanksgiving.  I have mental images of savory morsels of turkey.

One thought, in the following line:

undresses my sensation’s should the word undress be utilized?

Thanks for stopping by and commenting so generously on my Thanksgiving poem.

You are absolutely correct and "thanks" as I didn't even catch how I used undresses incorrectly! (too concerned with the dressing/undressing play on words)

I did a slight revision in keeping the poem "full", which is what I tried to do given the abundance so many of us are lucky enough to have on Thanksgiving Day!
