A Double Acrostic Nonet could this satisfy me curves on a unclad fruit lured me and I devoured the sweetness; taking it for myself, hoping if I left any it would not be merely a dream summoned by my hunger for one bite. ·······  ·······When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

Hi Syl,
If you look at the title in bold you will see it reflected in the first and last letters of each line. The left side is the first part of the title and the right side is the continuation of that title. It is done as more of a heads-up to the reader in a double acrostic. That is also something Daniel and I do down in Karnak's. I enjoy doing a lot of the longer poetic exercises utilizing either an acrostic or double acrostic to make it more of a challenge. You ought to try one or two. It gets the brain going when the muse is on the fritz. Larry ······· ·······When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations.
