Hi Merlin, I clicked on that link yesterday. In fact I read most of your poems and wish you'd post them at MM. They're very good. You're also so knowledgeable about poetry that I wonder why you insist you're hardly ever around. Do drop in to share your expertise with us.
Poet's Collective has no comments or crits at all. I would learn nothing there. Here at MM we get plenty of help of all kinds, the ToT sort. That's what makes it a friendly family type site.
I've no interest in merely showing my poems, there's a place to do that right here. It's a lonely place, for that very same reason. And I expect that's why P.C. is so slow. No inter-change. Forget it!
BTW, many excellent adjustments were made by Lori here at MM, about a year or two ago, so as to navigate the site with ease. It was done in response to a couple of member's requests. Lori has always lent a friendly ear to helpful suggestions. This is an exquisite platform, incomparably superior to any we've seen. Imhotep puts loads of hard work into keeping the cogwheels running smoothly. Or bits...whatever!
The adequate place to make announcements and post links to other websites of interest is "Site Information". Scroll down under the challenges and you'll see it at once. For ages, members have posted helpful links and/or invitations in that place. Some links are so old that they don't lead you anywhere nowadays!
I suppose you mean Federico García Lorca? He's Spanish, BTW, not Argentine. Excellent. Read Jorge Luis Borges. Wonderful story writer and incredible sonnets, a master!
Bye, Syl***
