Time has carried me away into a distance from the core of who I am and what I have shared long ago with the founder and older members of this site..

I recalled a happier simpler time and I sought you out, realizing that through the chaos of my life , at that time, my connection to you all and the sharing of the magic in word expression is the true essence of me.

I hope to be a constant again..

Miss you all so much!

Dani

Happiness is a journey, not a destination.

Here is a Quatre-par-Huit (Four-by-Eight) poem to welcome our Siren home. May you have some peace
in your life and in your country. This is only my second attempt at this form. I hope it meets with your
approval.

Each Cherished Line

Dani alone
in strange new places which condone
a level of barbarity and hate for those

who don’t comply with their beliefs. Replacing beauty to impose
their way of seeing things that differ from the prophet’s laws. They chose
conceptions which blaspheme the one they hold divine.

Mohammad left a life’s design;
each cherished line.

When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
