In Memory
we have not seen Mandela in the wordless flight of birds, his broken silence oh the sea is cold . . . gulls wing across the bay through burning water he touched our veins with ice and the prison faded earth shivers with grief — we are all floating islands counterweight to the stars ·······  ······· |

What a great tribute to Mandela. The lines have the right amount of spiritual, perhaps mystical, flow of feelings and grief. I like the finale very much indeed. I'll return for another read asap. Just moved from my city apartment where I lived for many years, to a small house in a mountain and lake district in Argentine Patagonia. It's been highly stressful. Beautiful surroundings don't always matter to one's heart and mind. I'm trying to adapt, with my sick husband in a new nursing-home.  I hope you're doing OK, Syl*** ······· ·······Mis temas favoritos
