I've been hanging around and posting poems on the internet since the early 90s. I've been in and out of many poetry forums and kicked out of some. I now have 4 books and dozens of magazine and e-zine publications and am getting old. It's always good to see something fresh. I am glad to be here. I'll do my best to praise things I like and try to improve things I feel I can improve. Frankly, I don't like detailed critiques, word by word. Those minutiae are the province of the poet's taste and judgement. I don't enjoy getting them and I probably won't write them unless I see a real problem. Glad to be here.

Good morning Don - As you are an old hand at poetry groups, I won't bore you any further with the huggy, warm feeling, welcoming guff - you'll have seen it all before.
But it is always good to see a new name on the screen.
We are fairly serious about our poetry, but are not above some appalling jokes. As you are not interested in criticism, we will try to comment in general terms; but it is sometimes hard to remember who likes what. Fortunately, you look young enough, (from my end of the telescope) to sustain an accidental, but well meant crit without damage.
For my part - I am here to learn - so helpful crits from a well seasoned writer are usually welcome.
