I've been hanging around and posting poems on the internet since the early 90s. I've been in and out of many poetry forums and kicked out of some. I now have 4 books and dozens of magazine and e-zine publications and am getting old. It's always good to see something fresh. I am glad to be here. I'll do my best to praise things I like and try to improve things I feel I can improve. Frankly, I don't like detailed critiques, word by word. Those minutiae are the province of the poet's taste and judgement. I don't enjoy getting them and I probably won't write them unless I see a real problem. Glad to be here.

Hello Don and WELCOME TO MM! Newbie.gif PartyFavor.gif Balloons.gif

I've been posting in poetry forums since late 2002 and find now that I've got MM to keep up with, I rarely venture out anymore, sadly. It's a lot of work to 'admin' a forum, lol, never mind moderating and writing/critiquing. But I do enjoy it! Hopefully the reasons you were banned from other sites won't come into play here or at other places in your future.

We offer honest, yet friendly feedback in our workshopping forums so I do hope you'll find yourself at home here. odie.gif There are many members here with different skill levels and technique, which makes MM more comfortable, diverse and challenging if you become so inclined in your poetic journey. sings.gif cheer.gif

There's plenty to delve into, so please, wander our halls, take in our colorful 'tiles' and join in the fun. hsdance.gif Idea.gif What type of poetry do you enjoy writing most and are there certain forms you often write in? Do you have a particular goal with regard to your own writings and when you interact with other poets?

When you begin to post, each forum has its own 'forum participation rules' posted in a link at the top of the forums, so please be so kind and read them over prior to posting. Our Mission Statment can be read here as well.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me or any of our staff (AMETHYST, Arnfinn, Eisa, JLY, ohsteve, Psyche and Imhotep). rose.gif margarita.gif mm.gif mm.gif

Collaboration feeds innovation. In the spirit of workshopping, please revisit those threads you've critiqued to see if the author has incorporated your ideas, or requests further feedback from you. In addition, reciprocate with those who've responded to you in kind.
