Hi John...
There are threee ways to use our icons above: [*]Hilight your word, line or phrase and then just select either the B, I, U, colour, size, font or alignment.
You will see a beginning tag and an end tag when done properly [ ].. [*]OR you can click on the icon at the beginning of your word, phrase, line and then click on it again at the end. [*]OR you can use control tags - control b to begin and control b to end (for BOLD), control U for Underline and control I for Italic.
Hope this helps! I think there are more details in the FAQ forum about this and also in the HELP button in the upper right top of our forum board...
Cheers! Lori

From the HELP button
We've added in some cool text buttons called iB Codes, to make posting a little more FUN! Along with the standard bold, italic and underline, we've added alignments, fonts, font sizing, and some other miscellany items, all listed below:
Colour dropdown Size dropdown Font dropdown Quicklist dropdown Align dropdown bold italic underline strikethrough move blur flip horizontal flip vertical shadow glow dropshadow invert text xray list bullets list single item bullet code quote link email picture
IMPORTANT tips:
Make sure to always have the open [ ] button in FRONT of your text you desire to change.
Make sure you always have the CLOSE [/] button following your selected text changed.
The following buttons, when clicked on, will OPEN that font characteristic - when you click it a second time, it will CLOSE that font characteristic for you. You can also just use your keyboard control button and the letter below, click first time to start code, then again to end it. B for Bold I for Italic U for Underline S for Strikethough B for Blur L for list K for list item (bullet) Q for quote E for email address H for hyperlink URL P for image URL
Have fun with these new font characteristics and use good judgment in critique forums.

Hi Nina.
Yes - it is. I thought you had a typo in there, but NO. It really is:
Most users ever online was 476 on Mar. 12 2005, 02:05
I just consulted Imhotep - I'm still waking up here. I actually saw the sun for about 30 seconds this morning. You see, we got CLOBBERED yet again wih almost 2 feet of snow. It started snowing Friday around 11 am and stopped late last night. This is getting ridiculous now! Since we've been back from vacation 3 weeks ago, we've had at least 2 storms a week! I'm fed up at this point.
Anyway - back to our "intriguing" visitors.
Imhotep tells me that Yahoo had a party here in the wee hours of the morning. One spider came along to crawl, and said, "WHOA, I need more friends - look at all these links/posts to crawl!" So, he told some friends, they came, and then they told some friends, and they recruited more help, MUCH more. So - you see their spiders branched out.
Ahhhh well.... Cheers! :block: ~Cleo

Hi, of course, to me (and Nina) that is actually 07:05 (GMT) which the UK is on.
So, it must be a combination of Early, Brits, late Yanks, reasonable Aussies and Agatha! (Perhaps Dani, too).
Nina - my reading says (and I have copied and pasted without change):
Most users ever online was 476 on Mar. 12 2005, 07:05
Using my control panel, I have my MM clock set for +5 over the MM base time - which makes it GMT readings for me. Other non-USA Eastern Standard Time users may also like to adjust their controls to their own time zones. (It's easy!)
Only just seen the spider comments! But I know that Fran, Nina, Alan and I are often on here at breakfast time. Mind you, the other 460+ weren't us, honest!
Bad luck with the weather Lori - and Agatha says she wished it snowed in Borneo!
James.

If we want to - we could go and reset that number back to 18 if anyone is interested? The date would remain as March 12 though..
What do you think?

Hi Lori...
It's great fun for a novelity at that daft figure but it renders the system meaningless. I think that, now we've had our fun, re-setting it would make it mean something again. So I agree.
James.
