Icicle crystals pointing north one night, through ebony silk skies shining light. Guided three men wisely, toward Savior’s bed, “He is coming, today”, all the townsfolk said.
They journeyed for days, as the star became near, filled with hope and bliss, love gifts, they would bear. But where the road finished, no baby was there, such a puzzling mystery, “He’s gone”, was the fear.
While holding their heads, tears of sadness fell, no stories of Christmas, the wise men would tell. When up in the sky he appeared with a smile, gliding smooth as gold, waving “hi” all the while.
“We will find him”, he said as he zoomed on in to a manger of hay, where our Lord lay thin. Wrapped in swaddling clothes, his eyes full of joy, winged angel of spirit blessed the infant boy.
Calling all of the people, from east to west, “Come one and come all, he’s proved the test.” For all who believe, even when you can’t see, there is truth bounding strong, within you and in me.
He kissed Baby joy, then flew up to the moon, all the angels above sang a melodious tune. Now December 25, exposing God’s treasure, sparkled divinity’s lights bringing hallowed pleasure. © Linda Balboni December 2003

Hi Lindi! :reindeer:
Thanks for posting this one from our Pandora challenge last year!
The opening (among other lines) is surely one of those "I wish I wrote that" lines!

Good luck! ~Cleo :snowflake:
