Hello all,
Happy New Year! We wish for you many inspirational moments this year - make the best of your time and your muse and share your genesis with us here at MM.
Please join me in welcoming
Psyche (Sylvia) to our staff in the role of Centurion. Her talent for expressionism and imagery-filled writing as well as finding and uncovering the true meanings/messages hidden within poems and ability to bring that out in our members will certainly be an added asset to our staff; not to mention her communication skills and ideas she always brings to make MM the best it can be.
A new forum was just added in the Mosaic Market category which is just a simple redirect to our
bookstore at the home page.
Today, I've activated the
paid subscriptions component of the board's software found in
My Controls. In doing so, I created a new member group called
Platinum Member that is a copy of the Gold Member Group. Your member group will automatically upgrade to this new group when you use the paid subscriptions and make a donation. This new group will have added benefits down the road, should we choose to purchase the Gallery component of IPB and add other goodies to the board. Now, you can, if you choose, make a one time donation to MM that remains in your paid subscriptions for a period of one year. There are three to choose from, a $10, a $20 and a $50 donation operated through PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay through this gateway. Should you choose to make one of these donations, simply click on My Controls, then scroll down the left side to
Options> Purchase Paid Subscriptions. Click on that hyperlink and follow the instructions from there. Once a payment has been made, you will no longer see the three subscription options, instead you will see details of the one you chose with the Start Date, End Date, Amount Paid and Paid Status.
I've added a few
new skins to the forum over the past weeks, updating the skin selections and there are plenty to choose from to best suit you and your mood when visiting and interacting with us. The default skin at present is 'Winter' and soon, I'll be changing it for Valentine's Day to 'BeMine' and then will alternate them after that every few weeks or months. Skins are much like an outfit, the person (forum) stays the same but the colors & mood change with each one. To change a 'skin', simply go to the bottom left corner of any page and select from the skin selector pull down menu, just below the footer bar and above the country flag images. Manually changing the skins will make the latest one you select your skin default when you are logged in. Why not experiment with different looks? You can easily change the skins any time you are logged in on the fly!
Have a great week all!
~Cleo
