Hi Daniel,
I know you are familiar with Pythagoras’ theorem pertaining to the square of the hypotenuse being equal to the sum of the squares of the other two sides in a right triangle. I was starting the year off taking care of one of my few resolutions about keeping my aging brain away from excessive “senior moments” by doing some math brain teasers and working some numerical puzzles before I went online to see if you had posted any answers in our “seemingly” private forums. This, of course, happened the evening after the celebration in Times Square bringing in the New Year and its concomitant crowds, congestion and the tons of trash that had to be cleaned up before daybreak of the next business day. The above mentioned theorem, being fresh in my mind from the games coincided with “Times Square”, the drunken revelry and possible use of other celebratory recreational drugs which might have (probably were) being used by some. It also brought to mind the mass-equivalency formula of E=mc2 (whether anyone had enough energy left to clean up the mess before daylight arrived). I did mess up on one of the “articles” used but in longhand, without the restricting parameters of the Cinquain, the post would read: Did the square of the hypotenuse of some of the angles include the mass times the flight weight at one.
