If the vapor in sauna is cold
turn the heat on or soon there'll be mold
not to mention yourself;
you may look like an elf --
you may shrivel and shrink, I am told!

What is why, on occasion, they bite
those damn insects, mosquito or mite
like the boys from the hood
they are after your blood
larger versions of much the same shite

Alan

[Larry]

Visions of lager muck was a shame
and the beer truck driver was to blame
when he crashed in a field
where some cows had concealed
lots of fertilizer I won't name.

[Alan]

lots of fertilizer that you won't name
means one suspects you are taking the blame
but you needn't worry
it is all only slurry
so there's no need to be taking the blame

If you're taking the blame for the cows
I must wonder what thoughts you espouse
for dealing with sludge;
would you hold a grudge
on yourself for your back yard outhouse?

[Larry]

The outback of your house is a yard
with some large gobs of plastic that's hard
shaped in ladders and swings
for your daughter who brings
the grandkids and you have to stand guard.

[JustDaniel]

For our grandkids we'll ever stand guard
even though oftentimes we're ignored,
but we'll constantly give
as long as we live...
and beyond, with willed, paid debit cards.

[Larry]

Debit cards will pay now and beyond
the US, even crossing the pond
but the rate of exchange
seems to get kind of strange
when you meet with a tall winsome blonde.

The blond woman's private exchanges
were oft what she's traded with strangers
for tall are her tales
she tells on hay bales
'til they don't know they ae in danger.

[Larry]

They don't know they're in danger until
they get old and are over the hill
but they'll try anyway
to take pills just to play
and wind up in the end, stiff and still.

[Alan]

you know you are over the hill
when your under it
though it's a tight fit
and they still expect you to pay bill

[Larry]

Pay the bill and they will still expect
a nice tip, a thank you, genuflect
so I always give some
'tween my finger and thumb
keeping my middle finger erect.

[Alan]

Keeping my middle digit erect
is more than some folks of me expect
an old age or three
has crept up on me
a handshake is the best they will get

[Larry]

If the best you can get's a handshake
when you wanted a kiss, for Pete's sake
and there's no way around
the fact, you're losing ground
in relationships 'cause you're a flake.

[Alan]

relationships may mean you will flake
and stand out like a quite flat pancake
for feminism's ban
on us "being the man"
has crushed us - oh for humanity's sake !

Alan

[Larry]

For humanity's sake, we are crushed
by the segment or whole we are mushed
and as oranges, so glad
that the best to be had
tastes divine when we're frozen and slushed.

[Alan]

and kaput, and exhausted, and bushed
some coffee on heat
tasted kinda neat
and biscuits (cookies), which have to be mushed

If your biscuits are mashed by the cook
and her recipe's not in the book
you will have to ask "please
give them both one more squeeze"
then retire to some dark private nook.

[Alan]

to retire with some dark private kook
you need only acquire "the look"
if you're with the fashion
committed, with passion
fate is sealed, in fact a closed book

[Larry]

Fate's sealed book... It's a fact that it's closed
and the secrets will not be exposed
to those dealing in cards,
crystal balls or tea shards
but the suckers will always be hosed.
