answers
quite often are
used as criteria
explaining how all axioms are clear,
supplanting known facts for simple logic;
this leaves no room for those who reach
incongruity’s steep cliff
seeking truths to
answer

clever acrostics
seems to be your forte;
wish I had the inclination
to join you in what's often been great fun
but I've been distracted by pain;
hope yesterday's spinal
gives help I've been
seeking

gives help
when it’s needed
without thought of reward
because he likes his fellow man
and is kind of fond of fellow women
as long as they are not fellows
or had operations
when some surgeon
gives help

surgeon
may offer hope
to a person who's down
and needing relief from his pain;
some surgeries are almost commonplace
while others are beyond the scope
as when strange sex hormones
suddenly start
surgin'

morning movement
before my first coffee
reminds me that I’m getting old
and must greet each day at a slower pace
especially when work is planned;
today, it’s the back yard
where grass died to
sod in

to discover some simple way
to try to keep his lawn green all year round;
after winter's contemplation
he decided to keep
old sod with its
grass dyed

with some nice top dressing

may still become a nice lawn for your yard
and if it doesn’t, compost it
till the seeds germinate
and save lots of
money

is nice to have
but it sure isn't grass
and also isn't filled with roots;
it certainly doesn't sound like old sod
so I'm wondering whether dirt
is now lodged in your ear;

so you will have them growing to
exchange with the dead sod and it helps you
ease the expense when some squares rot;
develop new grasses
