Will you always assume that I have the same depth of background with literature that you have obtained in years of reading? I've read very little because my eyes refuse to spend much time in that milieu.

Missing is Egregious
Much time, inferred reading supposes the reader sits for hours with books in their face instead of living; experiencing nothing but fact and fiction. I glean knowledge as I go in ways like you such times
Egregious derives from the Latin word egregius, meaning "distinguished" or "eminent." In its earliest English uses, egregious was a compliment to someone who had a remarkably good quality that placed him or her eminently above others. That's how English philosopher and theorist Thomas Hobbes used it in flattering a colleague when he remarked, "I am not so egregious a mathematician as you are." Since Hobbes' day, however, the meaning of the word has become noticeably less complimentary, possibly as a result of ironic use of its original sense. (Encyclopedia Britannica)

In ways boxing’s a sport like the gladiators who fought in the colosseum except for the use of wild animals; who are now kept out of the ring and don’t know the fight game so announcer weighs in

announce that I'm too fat although I'm working hard from day to day to make my yard like someone's living in our house and cares about the way it looks; I makes me sad that I have still not lost an ounce

still not shedding the pounds but exercise daily fixing up your retirement home to be near your grandchildren as they grow and though girth is not diminished, all that work will soon make abdomens a steel knot

ab knots are still absent and I use a walker which rolls and holds a bunch of stuff as I go from place to place in the yard; it will help me when picking up fallen branches and twigs which will tighten abs -- NOT!

tighten all of the nuts because they will get loose from the vibrations on walkers, especially the aluminum ones due to dissimilar metals so use lock washers and a torque wrench to tighten

to wish you could perform to a large audience is an insufficient reason to book Carnegie Hall so you can read some of your selected poems; the crowd that may show up could merely be two-ish

merely reading your work because you think it’s great without other poets input could probably be the height of conceit and wasting that kind of money with two showing up is like buying a mere lay

against better judgement, I find your writing style delightfully full of humor and although it may be of the dry type; it is, nevertheless, funny and those who take umbrage with it leave me aghast

not all I have written is considered great but some of it is passable and strings together valid thoughts which may, in the future, be quoted by unknown readers as being written straight from the heart and my words weren’t all knots
