I avoid remembering
the reverse of a smile
your hands
chiseled to perfection
on beer foam

right when I thought
the poem would stop
it leaks
through my thighs
bites and milks my volcano

pillars
are well kept secrets
debts
paid with kisses
to crappy old men dressed in black

three Dohkos play
in my fruit garden
adventuresome Bengali
kittens born on
the constellation of Libra

threaded needles cannot
tolerate the likeness of
your hands
rumbling between my fingers
let's toast to a long standing mistake
