Big news this week from New Zealand. Ian Wedde has been announced as the new Poet Laureate. That's where in the world we begin our News at Eleven section. That's followed by a terrific profile on a poet who lived in Maine, Rachel Field, which is followed by five book reviews. And that just kicks thing off. We've got links to dozens of poems and articles on poets all waiting for your clicking and reading, in three sections, first News at Eleven, then Great Regulars, followed by our Poetic Obituaries section. With so much intrigue the last couple weeks, there had been no room to mention that as of July 25, Poetry & Poets in Rags passed the eight year mark. Let's see, 52.14 times 8 is 417, plus a couple weeks means 419.
