Once wise men came at Christmas – or so it's said.
The wise men came, 'To set us free.' Or so they said. They offered their, 'Democracy.' Or so they said.
Next fell, from heaven, a deathly rain; their gift of 'Shock and Awe.' To demonstrate 'Democracy', and show us what it's for.
Those Wise Men came – all bearing gifts; or so they said. 'to end the Suni/Shiaite rifts,' or so they said.
Their leader posed upon the deck of a mighty aircraft carrier. Above, to shield his guilty neck - a giant Jump-Jet Harrier.
The wise men came, 'But not for long'; or so they said. 'Until they'd made our Nation strong.' or so they said.
And still, this Christmas, standing proud, on war-torn ravaged soil. How odd, they never say aloud That very small word - 'Oil.'
'Once wise men came at Christmas,' or so it's said.
