Wise Men
They tapped the trees to harvest myrrh and simmered berries for the seed to render frankincense. They were to travel far and with great speed;
so wrapped in woolen robes they went to bow before a new-born King. They followed stellar ornament with rarest gifts which they might bring
to One; the Child, prophets foretold. No emerald studded crowns were worn to show the status each now holds. No scent of cinnamon was bourn
upon the winds where angels flew and sang that prophecies were true.
