Excellent Dove!
I'm so glad you've joined. This one is piercing - I love it!
You've left a great line to start on too. I'm supprised I get the opportunity.
To me the hand jester is a string-less puppet gone amuck; a show without plot, nonsense.

Dear Grace
Nice little story.
You've almost got the hang - cinquain is
2 4 6 8 2
so your 6 is one syll short !
Also, a game seems to have developed to use the last 2 sylls of the prev post to start the new one.
Suit rail hang one, hang all in line, creased and creaseless ready now to rock and roll .... and be wrecked
Love Alan

Dear Grace
Like it !
Sorry about the "wrecked", I had failed to consider those following on.
Be wrecked, and be wretched, p'raps even be wasted, my boy, and you will have tasted the dregs .....
How's that to follow LOL ?
Love Alan

Hey there Alan,
Not very inspired. I still have to get the hang of this:
The dregs In the bottle Like the mulled remnants of my past hedonistic heydays… I WISH
Next please
Love

Dear Grace
If this one is not inspired, then I look forward to those that are. This had me LOL !
I wish that a cinquain were as easy to write as a Shakespearian sonnet dashed off !
Love Alan

Hello again Alan :knight:
Aah! Now you're talking. MY HERO (Shakespeare that is.) :jester:
Dashed off straight from the quill to the parchment, ink-flecked. Will’s impatient, teeming brain flying

Hi Grace, that's an excellent cinquain.
These are so addicting, aren't they?
Flying south for winter, goose and gander on wings of down, follow instinct’s current, re: quest.
