I'm Not There
Don't call me in the morning; morning glory, wake up and I'll be gone. When the first ray of sun flashes on the morning dew, I'll be traveling on with a few of my friends. I don't make amends. Look down that road as far as you can see, look too far and you won't see me, I am already gone. Just a sweet memory. A misty mumble from some other day, I spent time with you but I was never there, just look in to see how I'd fare. So how can you tell me that I compare to the one that's now sittin' in my chair? So long, I am gone.
