When my ill temper permits, I’ll overlook
inclement weather to read a good book.
I’ll close and bolt the door: my intention clear.
Then selecting a book from the table standing near,
I’ll make a warm drink, before taking my ease.
Next I’ll ensure my book will excite and please,
and not flog my brain with a tale low grade!
For I enjoy an exciting quantum cavalcade
of thrills through which to cleave my way,
finding it suits my needs for any inclement day!
