Hi, Lori

One of the joys of the Ikonboard site was that when one clicked on a tile in "latest posts" one was transported to the first posting that one had not already read. Here, I seem to go to the top of the first page. On many threads that is not a problem, but on others that carry on for a while, all that scrolling is a reet pain. I can see there is a "last post" option, but then one may have to scroll up several posts ...

Is there a way to deal with this?

Fran

Hi Lori

Thanks, that is helpful, but I don't think I explained my question clearly enough.

Imagine an example:

I visit the site before breakfast and someone has posted a new poem. There are several replies. I read them all (in fact there are 7, but I won't remember that all day). When I next visit, an argument has started and there are 15 replies in total, covering 2 pages.

If I click on the tile I am at the top of page 1 (and scroll down till I find where I had gotten to before) OR I click latest post and then have to scroll UP to that point.

On Ikonboard when one clicked on a thread somehow something (a "cookie"?) "remembered" how much was read and would take one back to the very next addition (in my example, that would be post #8).
