I never took latin in HS, and I don't understand latino's either.
Though spanish did help.

This piece was just one of those idle moments, trying to think of
something to write.

Well it worked for Julius, Nero, Octavius etc.

In so many words
truth never dies
a slip of the pen
the question drops
with a grain of salt

nothing stands in the way
and so to the rest
here and now
to the point

in fact

this particular purpose
to the point of absurdity
and infinity, is to the
point of making one sick
judging in matters of taste

dare to know...that
up from the depths
a hopeless passage
looked at to the end,
doing a great good

now it is time to drink
love conquers all.
