Grazing horses wait
mealtime hay now arrives
lean patience now filled.

Pasture given rest
worn blades growing tall
showing hidden bloom.

New pasture bridge-way
six hundred foot mud puppies
from wetland to here.

Overhang gutter
downspout channeling
filling water trough.

Canadian wind
cold pulling mane southward
summer to winter.

Yeah! Ride em cowboy. Very descriptive Stephen. That cold wind will be arriving any day now. A few more weeks and it will be time to get the snowploughs out.

One small crit. You used now twice in avery short verse.
You might like to consider losing one of  them.

Grazing horses wait
mealtime hay arrives
lean patience now filled.
