Dear Arnfinn,
Suspecting you to be a Shakespearean expert, can you ID the speaker and the one spoken to?

"My son, I find thy mind adept.
undulled by weeds of Lethe's type.
So listen now, they say I slept
in orchards where the asps are ripe.
And thus, my death in Denmark's thought
to be by viper's toxic sting.
Oh nobel son, as king be sought.
That crownED snake to justice bring!"

Nice if you can link to the actual scene

Dear James,
Indeed those words were left to all humanity, a heritage it seems so
shamely shed. You've noy only answered the call, but added to the general knowledge such that we've all learned from the master's touch.
I am motivated to post others here as protocol dictates in the hope that we can generate a greater appreciation for Mr. S.
I have written oodles of paraphrases of the work of the masters, always on the basis that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" and always assuring that the "para" is defined as a tribute and that the master poet, if unidentified at first is ultimately IDed.
Nicely done,     Cheers,     jgd
