Alluring globs of decadent
dressings
undress my sensation’s
control.

Succulent turkey smells
waft delicately
airing enticing aroma,
tempting an abundance of delicacies
eager for devouring.

Filling pie, cheery fruitful flavors
of contentment satisfy,
while digested gladdened tidings
reveal another year of
thankful blessings.

Hello Lindi wave.gif

Unfortunately we don't really have Thanksgiving here but you've just given me a wonderful taste of it!

There's such lovely, vivid, succulent and sensuous descriptions here, it's a real pleasure to read.

Succulent turkey smells
waft delicately
airing enticing aroma,
tempting an abundance of delicacies
eager for devouring.
 wonderful lines!!

This is just marvellous!!  Happy Thanksgiving!

"What could have made her peaceful with a mind
That nobleness made simple as a fire,
With beauty like a tightened bow, a kind
That is not natural in an age like this,
Being high and solitary and most stern?
Why, what could she have done, being what she is?
Was there another Troy for her to burn?"
WB Yeats "No Second Troy"
