The Christmas Candle.

At Christmas, there is lit a candle flame:
an unspoken reminder of He who came
to bring Joy and Peace to all Christian men,
that Earth might find Love and Harmony again.

Although on occasion the flame burns low,
still its radiance sheds a comforting glow.
For those with Faith, it is a silent beacon;
token of a Belief that will not weaken.

Though it is but a flickering candle light,
its power pierces the gloom of darkest night.
With a message bold that true Christians see,
it awards them with strength to fight adversity.

It's with thoughts of Peace at Christmastide,
that Christians celebrate His birth, world wide.
With the tallow candle lit at Christmas Eve,
they manifest the Love, in which they believe.

To those who sacrifice their all, that others gain,
its light shows their struggles, are not in vain.
With each message sent with candles we burn,
we pray that Love, Peace and Harmony return.
