When I go to Mount Olympus, I read of Pandora's Box challenges and Ten Word challenges.  Where do I go (and how do i get there?!) do find what the challenge is or what the ten words are?

This is my first visit to MM and I'm a slow learner! turtle.gif

Thanks for the help!

I agree, great name !

We are currently setting up our own 10-word challenges, but meanwhile, to keep you interested, here are the 10 words of the latest challenge I did elsewhere, the result of which I posted here too. It is a poem called FREE WAY, if you click on LATEST POSTS, then scroll down til you find it.

Here are the 10 words :

Enjoy.

Hi 2B,

A warm welcome to MM.

I have sent you some helpful (I hope!) info by PM (Personal Message - our internal e-mail system).

In addition to that I just wanted to "formally" say "hello" and to let you know that you can ask anyone on MM for help - if they don't know the answer they'll refer you to someone who may. Don't be afraid to ask any number of questions nor to "feel stupid" doing so - especially because we all had so many questions when we joined.

The most important things to remember about MM are:

To learn, to help others and to have fun.

So welcome and I hope you enjoy yourself.

Best wishes,

James.

Good morning TBC,

PartyFavor.gif Balloons.gif Violin.gif   WELCOME Hide.gif Couch.gif GroupHug.gif

It is always good to see a new member on MM.

We all had trouble finding our way through the labrynth of MM when we started. Don't worry, you'll soon get the hang of it.

A good tip for a beginner is to use LATEST POSTS AND NEW POSTS.
These headers appear in a coloured band near the top of the page (where, on the far right it says YOUR MESSENGER)

This will show you all that has been added since you last visited.

As Liz, Alan and James say, you'll soon get the hang of it. sings.gif  :cheer:

Hello 2B and WELCOME to MM! Newbie.gif PartyFavor.gif Balloons.gif

In our Site Map - within our category labeled "Mount Olympus" - you'll find TWO separate forums for challenges:

One forum is called Pandora's Box and the other is called The Acropolis (for snippet challenges and our new bi-weekly FLASH Jams).  cheer.gif

In Pandora, you'll see 'pinned topics' at the top (I usually put the curent challenge in there) and they last about 24-28 days. There are instructions in the tile to assist. To add a reply, click the NEW TOPIC button and post. Winners are chosen by a member POLLING.

In the Acropolis, (You must be LOGGED IN to access it), there are MANY tiles with different challenges. Click onto one of them and post your response as an "ADD REPLY" within the thread - with ONE exception: the new FLASH JAMS (they work like Pandora). There are no awards or POLLS given for these challenges at the present time.

To get to Mount Olympus, click here and bookmark if you wish:

Welcome again!

P.S. to all...

I always try to post/update our 'calendar of events' too at the bottom of the Forum index (start) page.

You can always just click on the link there as well to launch you to the tile directly.
