Heavens!
I missed your birthday, Sylvia. I think I must have slept through most of the day... even though I didn't load up with food on Thanksgiving. My job was to watch two grandchildren while Eileen and two older daughters went out for Black Friday shopping. I had a wonderful time with them, but I was a bit distracted during my spotty visits here. deLighting in the lampposts of our lives, Daniel

Thank you for your kind wishes, Eisa, Lori and Daniel!!! We celebrated at a lovely tea-house overlooking our Lake Nahuel Huapi. The snow-capped mountains glowed on the other side. It was a brilliant day, I think some hot weather is arriving. We all ate and drank too much...LOL...Tea-houses are abundant here, mostly owned by Europeans, so they serve all sorts of delicacies. Dani dearest,  What a lovely moment when I spied your name at the Birthday greetings. Thank you so much! Daniel told us about meeting you at JFK airport. I'm so glad, but felt full of envy! I don't suppose you'll every fly down to Argentina. I'm now further south than Buenos Aires. I'm near a beautiful resort town called Bariloche, in Argentine Patagonia. Needed to be near my daughter Diana. I have a pretty little house in her grounds.  If you google Bariloche, you might be tempted to take a holiday over here!  The lakes and mountains are glorious. Still, I'm a bit lonely because it's not easy to make new friends as the years pass. I have a small group of widows...LOL...And they all speak English, so I can practice with them!  Tx again, Dani, for remembering me. I'll take a peek to see whether you've charmed us with one of your poems. Hope so! You can post 'oldies', as there's been a turnover of members recently.
