SENILITY
Time stands still in your gaze: you survive in a descending spiral, searching for preterit instants in mnemonic pathways.
Your eyes don’t see the world but shadows. Your mind transmutes love in phantoms without farewells.
Dementia, like the blind worm, slides through tunnels in live matter. Is your yoke easy? Your burden, light? You don’t answer now. With a child’s rucksack on an old man’s loins, packed with recondite images of yesterdays, you seek an outlet to the sea.
Destiny is Amphitrite with a child in arms. Goddess of the Ocean, she breastfeeds creatures adrift in embryonic waters.
Return to cool green depths! You shall have peace.

Mis temas favoritos The Lord replied, my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.
"There is no life higher than the grasstops Or the hearts of sheep, and the wind Pours by like destiny, bending Everything in one direction."
Sylvia Plath, Crossing the Water, Wuthering Heights.
