A Nonet. “You?”

I’m sure I saw one that I thought you?
Though but briefly seen, passing through,
walking past, was surely you?
But instantly I knew
when they queried who
bid them adieu?
If not you
was true?
Who?

A Reverse Nonet. Me!

Me
just me.
You will see
no one can be,
exactly like me.
As most folks clearly see.
Being singularly Me!
So when you see, one thought to be
Me? Be advised, it is not Me!

Rhymer. November 26th, 2017.

Trying something new on a cold, windy day. Much harder than it looks - so I find! Ciao Denis.

Hey, Denis...

It looks like you have started a challenge for us to write rhyming nonets and reverse nonets! So, in the spirit of your first, I offer the following... with my reverse nonet first, followed by a nonet... BOTH RHYMING

Reverse or Worse?

Wow!
That's how
he will plough
nonets. So now
Denis won't allow
lines of no rhyme so bow
to only what will somehow
have sounds like those before that thou
hast written, lest Rhymer disallow.

Then turning about we'll head back down.
Perhaps you'd like to play the clown?
or more somber? with a frown?
You could just turn around,
head back to the ground;
you could expound
or compound
unbound
sound

There is nothing like a good challenge so I'll emulate Daniel with the reversed first!

orn a mental

yes
I guess
we can bless
or make a mess
and some may think less
of such forms and confess
it’s too hard and their success
is circumspect but they digress
and send out a plaintive S. O. S.

but there’s no one at the Mosaic
to answer their call very quick
and some believe it’s a trick
but just pick up some stick
to write something slick
for Denis’ shtick
or just pick
and click
Bic

Back Words

so
we go
again, though
no one can know
how the wind will blow;
hold on to your chapeau
to see what fate will bestow
as we simply go with the flow
'til we've descended to the plateau
where we join Denis to go on back
when he assures he won't attack
our reverse form with some flack
that we both seem to lack
respect for his black
& white, but alack,
We do, we crack,
so don't sack
our back,
Jack!

Added a little something!

working at acrostics

With Nonets, there is a panoply
of words to use if he or she
really needs some difficulty
keeping sides that may be
in rhyme and you’ll see
notes with a free
guarantee.
Agree?
The
art
can part
reader’s heart
or it might start
something to impart
to others who are smart
impetus when some old fart,
coming around last, with a dart
stuck firmly in that old apple cart.

Hi Guy, Tis I, with a reply:

Hi!
Tis I
asking why
you, passing by,
had a thought to try
my challenge? More so, why
a Nonet no less, for I
never thought, others would espy,
then read my poem. As for yours? By
heck, its okay! But to catch your eye
was not really the reason why
I posted mine. With a wry
grin I say, why deny
Fate? So please reply,
and don’t be shy.
Loudly cry
Goodbye!
Bye!

tears for fears

Bye!
Now try
so you tie
in words of wry
humor and then ply
your brain to tell me why
you feel rhymed Nonets won’t die
when most frightened writers decry
a challenge which always makes me sigh
in exasperation. Should some deny
it takes effort, I would reply,
“It’s not as easy as pie!”,
but if those could apply
their wit, then the sky
is not too high.
Dry each eye
when I
cry.
