Mosaic Musings...interactive poetry reviews _ ARCHIVES -> Poetry for Exhibition Prior to 2006 _ Technology, Isn't It Amazing?

Two guys and a gal visiting one night,
discussing how technology was out of sight.
There isn’t anything mankind can’t invent,
no mattter how much money must be spent.

One was showing off his new watch, with no wrist band,
implanted within his wrist, bound to have much demand.
The other in his palm,  had a cellphone there,
a belt was something he didn’t like to wear..

So now he didn’t need one to hold his phone,
he just held his hand to his ear, presto, a dial tone.
Needless to say the gal was impressed an awful lot,
such ingenious stuff, something she’d never got.

She had to go to the bathroom, said, “I’ll be right back,”
until she returned,  both of them had to yak.
An hour later she had to go,  and headed for the door,
they both busted out laughing louder than they had before.

She had several sheets of toilet paper dangling behind,
but thought both of them had lost their mind.
She turned at looked at them with flames in her eyes,
and said,  “what on earth is wrong with you guys?

They told her why they were laughing so much,
she said, “regarding technology, you’re out of touch.
You both need to learn how to relax,
what’s wrong with a gal getting a fax???????????”
