Firstly, let me take this opportunity to wish all members of MM a Merry Christmas and A Happy 2012. May you enjoy your Christmas Celebration in an atmosphere of Peace and Love along with family and friends.
I apologise for my absence for it has been quite a while since I last took part in any challenges or for that matter, commented on any recent topics or poetry. When time permits, there is much I have to do to catch up with recent events on the site.
Truth is, it’s been a rough ride for me of late, inasmuch as the health of my dear wife, who earlier in the year, suffered a severe concussion, caused concern as she did not recover as quickly as had been expected or hoped for.
Needless to say, it curtailed my indulgence in things “Internet” and did in turn, severely limit my poetic pleasures. This continued until recently, when a new approach was suggested and tried. Since its implementation, much improvement has taken place, and she is now back on the road to complete recovery. What better gift could one ask for at Christmas?
So apologies to all members, and here’s hoping the worst is now history. Rhymer aka Denis.

Hi Denis,

Glad to see you back and posting again! I hope 2012 brings you better things in the year ahead. Most of us have had a lackluster year on staff here - for me personally - a lot of intermingling stresses that happened so I'm looking forward to a new year myself. PartyFavor.gif

Best wishes!

Denis, Sorry to hear about your wife, but am glad that things have worked out. Welcome back to MM. Most of the staff here have been in and out with major health problems. Let us all hope the New Year brings some changes.

Take Care
Steve
