Mosaic Musings...interactive poetry reviews _ Discussions -> Alexandria's Library _ Latin Jazz Anyone?

Posted by: malomanu323 Sep 19 05, 12:53

Hi!  I'm a parent and I find the job very stressful.  However, when the kids are gone for a while and I am free to relax at home, I find that a little Latin Jazz hits the spot.  I used to listen to Getz/Gilberto mostly, but recently my friend gave me her copy of a new CD by Badi Assad called "Verde" -- and this album hits the spot just right!  I'd like to know if anyone else has heard of her.  If you're curious and so inclined, you can listen to a couple song samples by going to badiassad.com and clicking on "new".  What do you think?

Hello Manu and welcome to MM! Newbie.gif

I cannot speak to Latin Jazz specifically, however, I can say that I find music very soothing to the soul. If you are having a stress-filled day, turn on some tunes and drift off, leaving those worries behind.

Are you a song-writer? Poet?

Music can bridge so many things, state of mind being one of them.

Welcome again. wave.gif
