I am always on the trail of great people not because I belong to CIA or any secret agent but because I also want to be great and has learnt that one could become great watching and practicing what great people do so I trailed great Wally Schwim, popularly known as Thoth, here. I saw him enter this beautiful place and I am sure he doesn't go to where there are no wise and honourable people. Do you have a room for me too?

Hello Sesan my Friend,
Your tracking skills as a hunter are commendable gimli.gif and surpassed only by your flattery. I shall have to be more careful to cover my tracks in future. blush.gif

It is truly a pleasure to welcome you here to my humble poetry home where I and my family will be happily assist where we can with advise and suggestions for your writing. We also look forward to reading your poems soon.

I wish you well and that your writing skills may be honed and tempered like a fine steel tool which you will use to acheive the greatness that you seek. As for me? if I could be just a small part of that greatness of which you speak, I would die a happy man. gandalfg.gif

To my MM friends,
Sesan hails from Lagos, Nigeria, so his use of langauge will at times be rather strange to you. In a land where evil and corruption are rife, he holds up a candle of hope to the good people of his country for whom his love is boundless. Sesan's culture and poetry are very different to the western norm so please be patient and understanding.

Wally

Dear Oludpoet;

I've come with this very late greeting and to thank you again for your kindness in reviewing a poem of mine. I hope that you weren't terribly dissappointed if you looked at some of my other material here. I have not written any satisfactory free verse and am just getting the courage to ask for help. I'm off now to find some of your writings and return the gracious favor you have given me.

Sam

Hi Sesan and welcome to MM! I'm sure we'll all learn a great deal from you. I've just logged in and will take a peek to see what you've posted.

Can't comment now coz it's 2.30 a.m., but I'll be back.

Lucky us that Wally introduced you. Poems from different cultures are invariably fascinating.

Hope you enjoy being a member here. cheer.gif

The Lord replied, my precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.

"There is no life higher than the grasstops
Or the hearts of sheep, and the wind
Pours by like destiny, bending
Everything in one direction."
