Alan ~ "The Machine of True Disorder" for the topic: A response to the image by photographer Greg Gawlowski as found in our Gallery, "Phone Box - Scotland".

2nd JANUARY 2005
Cailean ~ "Worker" for the topic: "Life as a non-humanoid robot." A response utilizing the perspective of a non-humanoid robot including select key words.

1st FEBRUARY 2005
Nina ~ "The Estate" for the topic: A response to the poem, Builders of Ruins by Alice Meynell incorporating six word phrases.

2nd FEBRUARY 2005

The poem must be either a sonnet, rondeau or Villanelle and the microstory cannot exceed 300 words.

1st MARCH 2005
Nina ~ "Echoes of the Future" for the topic: Time Traveller (TY HG Wells)  ~ You have been sent back or forward in time at least 500 years to observe the lifestyles of the time and report back to the present your findings. You must describe the location and the goings-on you discover without revealing the name of the race (i.e. Greeks, Romans) until the last line of your piece.

1st DUET CHALLENGE 2005
Ephiny + Psyche ~ "'The Children of Lir"  for the topic:  To write about one of following topics (your choice): Whispers from the Deep, Echoes of the Moon, Enemies of the Unknown, Raindrops of the Heart and The Age of the Clones ~ Duet's choice

2nd MARCH 2005
JustDaniel ~ "secret a gent" for the topic: Write an ACROSTIC poem describing YOURSELF using your first and last names.

1st APRIL 2005
JLY ~ "Cascading Tears" for the topic: An image challenge: Tropical Paradise including ONE set phrase from a list.

2nd APRIL 2005
Nina ~ "Acceptance Denied" for the topic: DO opposites attract?  ~ You are tasked with creating a response utilizing at least THREE of the mock antomym groupings (SIX words).
