Not Alone
Tread softly on the forest trail that’s blazed from years of cautious steps. Small creatures bide within this clime and I am so amazed at their variety. I’ve often tried to see how many species I could count on my forays into their tiny realm but numbers grow into a huge amount. Their multiplicity would overwhelm most entomologists but I’ve digressed and am so fortunate to coexist with all these denizens for I feel blessed. To live in harmony, I must insist you stay upon the path and do not roam for you may step on someone else’s home. ·······  ·······When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

I wondered whether I ought to do that, and since you didn't respond to it, I've removed it and placed it were it belongs, in Hermes as Naughty Loan I hope that you do NOT think I didn't take your piece seriously. As a matter of fact I ALWAYS do, including the ones that you masterfully write that are also funny or quirky!
