For one sixteen, life had been harsh
and she doubted anything could excite her,
though having a notion, nothing would improve
she’d prayed for a wind of change.
On opening the envelope a fraction:
and recognising the teal coloured ink,
she blushed the deepest berry pink!
Glum no more, her immediate reaction
was to immediately spring into action,
and kissed the mailman on his cheek!
