Daniel's Therapy by Poetry Tile, Can poetry help people? Options

Hi all,

I've moved this debate out of my own poem's section because it seemed independent ("off topic," if you care for that phrase) and also because it has elicited a strong response, so needs a fair airing.

It was started by Daniel. I cannot move individual entries across and preserve the posters - so each entry will have my name against it. Nevertheless, I have put the real poster's name above that.

Please continue to respond here - I'm sure Daniel would appreciate the feed-back.

All posts on this topic have now been moved - further responses would be appreciated, I'm sure.

I don't know why you're apologising - no harm done. This is a good point of yours which deserves a fair airing - look at the responses you've had. I certainly have no problem from it. I just thought the two issues different; that's all.

I think what might be helpful, please, is if you'd care to explain a little more about what programme you are tutoring on and why your boss feels that using your poetry is inappropriate - unethical? If you'd care to, that is?

I've not expressed that much sympathy yet because I'm rather confused - don't understand the system in which you're working, nor its aims, nor your role etc.

However, as you are so upset I shall say I am very sorry about that.
