We have patience, that’s part of our charm
and we’ve weathered the Mosaic’s storm
but when old folks chime in
we must chide with chagrin;
one should use anapests with this form!

If your long-term retirement is hurt
and you feel like you’re losing your shirt
I’d say you should have fired
the advisor you’ve hired
and then buried your cash in the dirt.

No, the dirt is no place for your cash,
and you may as well burn it to ash.
It will lie there and rot
and will leave you with naught.
Putting it in the bank is not rash!

Putting money in banks is real shrewd
but their motives are just misconstrued
for they loan out your bucks
at high interest on trucks
and the pittance they share means you’re screwed

If the pittance you shared has been spewed
then just hold back what you have accrued
to give someone with need
who will never have peed
on your gift that they haven't eschewed

If you’ve peed on the gifts you eschewed
and then crapped on what you misconstrued
then I’d say you’re bereft
and so far to the left
that your girlfriend is really a dude!

If your girlfriend is really a dude
then I'd guess that you are not a prude
but I wonder if you
had been shocked to view
her the first time that you saw here nude!

If you’re seeing her nude the first time;
“it’s a sight that most men think sublime”.
Before going to bed
you had better get wed;
lack of age, some consider a crime!

When you’re spending a dime and get mad
at what once was one cent to be had
but the biggest surprise
is it’s now half the size
as it was when you once were a lad.

You remember when you were a tot?
I'm afraid that oft times I cannot.
I think my brain's shrunk
or is locked in a trunk
and my eyes find the key hard to spot.

When the key’s hard to spot with your eyes
which will free up your brain, I surmise
you should hang some strong thread
for that key ‘round your head
and say bye-bye to all alibis.

'cause it's there I may find some good buys

but the democrats found out too late.
Their disparaging names
