Wonderful sentiments for John in his loss, and our heart goes out to his grief as well. This piece shines in his darkness, I'm sure.
The feeling of it to me fight fit into a senryu something like this? a white rose glist'ning in the darkest night; always remembered in Light of your thoughtful sentiment, Daniel

I do hope John drops by to read this sensitive and delicate tribute to his dear Mum.

Maureen,
That was a lovely tribute and it should be shared with everyone who has lost someone dear to them. My Mother was a gardener and a member of her local Garden Club. She used to cultivate the largest red and yellow roses I have ever seen, so your choice of a rose has great poignancy for me and my family. Thank you for thinking of me.
