Tallow's Light
In chambers veiled, the heart, a secret shroud, three flames still burn the tallow of desire. My passions pent, ablaze, though disallowed, in chambers veiled. The heart, a secret shroud, attends what body, mind and soul avowed; an oath to keep the sparks of true love’s fire. In chambers veiled, the heart, a secret shroud, three flames still burn the tallow of desire.

Ahh John thank you so much. Your wit is a delight!
This is a huge honor. I think I won by luck. I know when I voted, I found very difficult to decide because ALL the poems were great.
I feel that this award belongs to all of us, for we hone our pens with each other.
Thank you Cleo, for your wonderful challenges - they give us inspiration and help us grow as poets.
Humbly,
Michelle

Hello Michelle. Many congratulations.
You are genuinely but underervedly modest. Your triolet was excellent and enjoyed by many. Well done. J.

Ahhh thank you Grace.
You are too kind. I think the environment of MM is the contributing factor. You are a wonderful poet and I'm honored to interact and learn.
Thank you again. You've given me a smile tonight.
Michelle

Lindi, thank you for your wonderful comments. It looks like a party! You are great at using these smileys and controls! (besides writing splendid verse)
I really think I lucked out - all the poems were wonderful.
I am glad for the opportunity to know you.
:juggle:
Well, that's my feeble attempt.
Thank you again.
