FIRST LOVE
They stripped in the rain, ensnared by Spring’s magnetism, eager for that primal, inconceivable kiss.
Moist embraces, cloudbursts full of pauses, his lips on her skin and the strum of robust reeds swaying over undefiled pastures.
As snowdrops triumph over winter’s reign, passion sprouted from their virgin bodies.
A gust of guileless wind swept seeds born of desire over fertile prairies espying candid caresses.
Cherry blossoms and songbirds reveled in youth’s enchantment. Even Earth’s allure was enhanced by the ardour of that once chaste, irretrievable Spring.
