It is my pleasure to announce that the IBPC judge for the summer months of July, August, and September 2012 is poet, philosopher, columnist and Professor of Philosophy at California State University, Chico, Troy Jollimore. His philosophy book On Loyalty (Thinking in Action) will come out while he is judging, in August of this year. As a poet, his book Tom Thomson in Purgatory, won the National Book Critics Circle award. Below you will see where his columns and poetry have appeared online. "Outstanding" is a good word to use for him, so let's begin our webography links with a couple of online bios:

Let's use the Powell's link to his books. After all he has blogged for Powell's.

His philosophy titles are: the upcoming On Loyalty (Thinking in Action) (Routledge, 2012); Friendship and Agent Relative Morality (Studies in Ethics) (Garland Publishing, 2001); and Love's Vision (Princeton University Press, 2011). Google Books has a preview of the latter here: Love's Vision.

His poetry titles are: the aforementioned Tom Thomson in Purgatory (MARGIE/Intuit House, 2006); The Solipsist (Bear Star Press, 2008); and At Lake Scugog (also Princeton University Press, 2011). Google Books has a preview of two of them: Tom Thomson in Purgatory; At Lake Scugog.
