Mosaic Musings...interactive poetry reviews _ Forum FAQs _ Quoting within a thread

How do I quote a topic or a portion of one in a thread?

If you would like to quote a previous Post when you reply to another's post, you can either quote the entire message or quote specific lines within a thread.

To quote an entire reply, instead of selecting the Add Reply button, select the Quote button instead. This allows you to quote the ENTIRE Post that you want to quote. The original text will appear in a box underneath your commenting box for reference.

Another way to quote certain lines is to select the Add Reply button, paste comments into the body of your reply window to start. Then as you want to quote specific lines, click on the Quote iB Code Button to initiate the open and close quote tags. Then delete whatever parts of the 'paste' you don't want in your reply.

When quoting certain lines of text, make sure that you use the word "quote" within the brackets [ ], followed by /quote within the brackets [ ]. For demonstration purposes, I cannot actually do this because it will then quote the words in between the brackets - but I will demonstrate below.

QUOTE
This is my quote example.

Good luck!  If you need help, please let us know!
Thank you.
