Quiet Friends one moment since my fall and all laughter turns to a whisper as my friends discover me flat on my back; they wrap my aching, swollen ankle, transport me to where my soul can rest in dreams Challenge words, in order of appearance: moment, fall, laughter, whisper, friend(s), discover, wrap, ach(ing), soul, dream(s)

Nicely done on the Nonet. Hope the fall hasn't happened recently. Too bad you couldn't have made it a double acrostic Nonet. That would definitely have been a challenge. Larry ······· ·······When power leads man toward arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the areas of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of his existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
