Be sure to read the last two items we link to in this week's Poetry & Poets in Rags. They are in Poetic Obituaries. Last in alphabetical order in that section are Wislawa Szymborska and Dorothea Tanning. This is not to ignore the other obits, such as West Virginia's Poet Laureate Irene McKinney and others who have passed, but to draw your attention to that last section. In our middle section, Great Regulars, the passing of Wislawa Szymborska is also covered by Jeffrey Brown, Alison Flood, and David Orr.

We begin with a nicely done review of Margot Peters' book on Lorine Niedecker. The eleventh article in News at Eleven is about the Clint Eastwood commercial, which debuted during this Sunday's Superbowl. I'll let Carolyn Kellogg of the Los Angeles Times make the connection to poetry for you.
