Herd Scene

Clad in garb, ermine trimmed and cerise
Comes a hirsute Caucasian, obese
Levitates through the night
Ungulates in full flight
I’m not drunk so don’t call the police.

Larry, your going to get a lump of coal in your stocking....lol. He's not obese, he's just undertall... or just jolly.
Great thinking on this. Hmmm I wonder what gulates are, and why would they want to be un?

Take Care

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you were in a rhetorical mood when asking about "gulates" and why they would want to be "un". For anyone else who reads this, I suppose an explanation might be in order...

Ungulate: hoofed mammals; ie. deer or reindeer, pigs, cows, etc.

Steve, as for the stocking, I have no fireplace with a mantel upon which to hang one so our jolly old "vertically challenged" or maybe "gravitationally impeded" quintuple octogenerian philanthropist will have to keep his lump of coal.

Merry Christmas,
Larry

Larry, yes I was being a bit rhetorical, a bit facitious, and a bit naughty...I could take the coal and sell it on E-bay then buy something I really wanted, like a new body..lol. You don't need a fireplace, we put our stockings on the floor and they always seem to get filled, just like the rotund one has a magic key to get in the front doors when there is no chimney for him to come down. Have you seen the Disney Series that just started called "'Prep' and 'Landing'" it looks like a Pixar production and is really cute. I saw it on Hulu.com. Have a Merry one even if you do get to wear swimtrunks and barbque.

Take care

Steve

Hey Steve,

Just wanted to let you know that the swim trunks are put away for the winter and the flames tips in the BBQ pit keep breaking off when they come in contact with the grill.

It was 20 last night with 15mph winds for a nice toasty 8 degrees with the wind chill factor. Tonight it will be 16 or 17 degrees and we may dip into the negative numbers with the wind chill figured in. My tropicals and cactii are holding on for dear life (literally and physically). It ain't spos'd t'get that cold down her in the South!

One more:

With his seasonal visit complete
Santa sits at the pole with his feet
In an old wooden pail,
With his suit on a nail
Airing out from the smell
Of the eight reindeer tail.
He looks tired and frail
As he tries to compel
Missus Claus to fix something to eat.

Perhaps that is worth a lump of coal.

Larry
